Dr. Dowis received his medical degree from the University Health Sciences, followed by an internship at the Medical College of Georgia and a residency at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Dowis is a Major in the US Air Force Reserve and serves as the Chief Medical Officer to Mountain Lakes Medical Center. Growing up in Habersham County, Dr. Dowis understands the importance of ensuring quality medical care to our area and maintaining a community hospital.
Anna Ledford is a graduate from North Georgia with a graduate degree from Vanderbilt University. Anna is board certified in Family Medicine. Anna is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the Honor Society of International Nursing, and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Monique Kelly is a graduate from Piedmont College and received a Master of Science in Nursing from the Frontier Nursing University. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners with 8 years professional nursing experience.
Allison Tanner completed her undergraduate degree from Darton College and State University and received a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners with six years professional nursing experience.
Dr. Brian Pratt earned his Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Biology from the University of Texas at Tyler in 1998 and received his medical degree in 2011 from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Dr. Pratt completed his residency at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine-Knoxville Department of Family Medicine. While previously serving as an emergency room physician, Dr. Pratt completed over 30,000 ER visits with 24 hours of solo physician coverage. He is certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Findley received his medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia, and completed his residency at Metropolitan General Hospital. Dr. Findley served as the General Medical Officer at Winn Army Community Hospital in Fort Stewart, Georgia prior to moving to Clayton, Georgia. Dr. Findley is a seasoned veteran of family medical care with thirty years of experience.
Dr. West is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She received an undergraduate degree from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina and attended Bowman Gray School of Medicine, in Wake Forrest, North Carolina. West was part of the internship program and completed her residency at North Carolina Baptist Hospital, in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Dr. West is an active member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, GAAFP, AOA. As a family medicine practitioner, she is trained in the areas of pediatrics, women’s health and family medicine.
Janice Cochran graduated with Honors from Georgia State University with a Master’s of Science in Nursing, specifically the Family Nurse Practitioner Program. With over 20 years of Nurse Practitioner experience and a total of 40 years’ experience in the nursing field, she has worked everywhere from the Public Health Department to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Janice has been a part of the North Shore Clinic at Walmart since 2010.
Coordinates team-based care to provide health services to individuals, through effective partnerships with patients, their caregivers/families, community resources, and their physician. Facilitates a “shared goal model” within and across settings to achieve coordinated high-quality care that is patient- and family-centered.
